That's what you say, and I'm not at all sure that's true. But for the sake of argument let's say it is.
Mexico offered one group of poor starving, beleaguered, dead tired and malnourished refugees asylum.
And they said, ummm...no thanks. We're good. We'll get our stuff from the US.

Meanwhile, the US is now criminalizing and prosecuting people who leave life sustaining water along the migration routes in hopes of preventing some of these deaths.

Giving aid and comfort to foreign invaders, assisting them in their invasion, is treason. It exactly meets the definition of treason that is found in Article III, Section 3 of our Constitution.
