I don't know enough about it to know if its feasible or not but given Spirit's imminent collapse and airlines having to jack up their fares due to the rising costs of petroleum...would it make sense to have a strategic jet fuel reserve? Since diesel trucks are also vulnerable to this spike in costs, would it make sense to have a strategic diesel fuel reserve? As I understand it, some fuels have what amounts to a "shelf life". It would seem that this could be mitigated by selling off some of the fuel as it starts to degrade (if this is the case).

I hate to see pilots, ground crews, stewardesses, ticket agents, etc....lose their job over high petro prices. It would seem like it would be a good idea to put some insulation between the spikes ad company's survival.

Any Thoughts?

But if I am wrong about this playing a key part within perhaps the biggest ever Psy Op , then Trumpfy needs taking to immediate task .
It would be incompetence of the most disgraceful kind .
Which itself invites the question——. Is there more going on than first seems obvious ?

Back to my type of thinking .
