Black Unemployment Is Surging Again. This Time Is Different.

White is a race and whites don't get hired and promoted because of merit and intelligence. It's time this racist narrative is dropped as well. These fluctuations occur because of the continuing racism of whites.
race is a social construction created by demklan bigots.....not surprised to see you still trying to push it.

Unemployed blacks for Trump!

Trumps policies hurt the most vulnerable populations.... by design.

Blame the Democrats or blame the demographic...the fact is that they didn’t show up for her.
No, the fact is that 79 percent of black men voted for Harris. That's showing up. Whites such as yourself need to stop looking for excuses. 57 percent of whites voted for racism. Trump ran an overtly racist campaign. He lost the one debate he had with Harris. He ran from a second scheduled debate. He froze up an danced for 30 minutes when he was supposed to be speaking. He answered a woman's question about child care with pure word salad. He was so consistently incoherent during his speeches that his handlers told him to make up a term to cover for his dementia, so he created the weave. After all this, 57 percent of whites voted for him. No other group voted in a majority for Trump. The FACT is that this is not about black men not showing up, no matter how much you lie to yourself to absolve whites from what they did. It's simply time whites start looking at themselves and stop trying to blame others.

Is there a law saying these "vulnerables" cannot look for a job like everyone else? How is Trump's economic policy excel Asians to the top, even above whites, but purposely keeping blacks and Hispanics down.

Or you can just say, Democrats should allow voters to select a candidate who should represent them instead of the party leaders selecting a candidate who no one in the party voted for.

It should have been more.

Sorry.

Tell me, how is Trump's economic policy keeping blacks and Hispanics down but excel Asians?
Asian unemployment rate has increased substantially under Trump. No one is immune.

Yep. The racism is coming home to roost.

Trump didn't layoff federal workers because they were black. White people were laid off as well, in fact, more white people than black people were laid off. African Americans are overly represented in the public workforce as compared to the private or to the population. It stands to reason that cuts to the federal workforce would affect them. Also, cuts were made to racist and unnecessary programs like DEI, which had a disproportionate amount of black employees, black women in particular, than other programs.

It should have been more.

Sorry.
No, there should not have been 57 percent of whites voting for racism. Roughly the same number of black men voted for Harris as we did for Biden. Trump got 19 percent of black men in 2020 and 21 percent in 2024. That was not a huge enough gain for people to talk like you do here. You just don't want to accept what the facts really show, and that's been the problem all along.

All demographics witnessed higher unemployment but Asians still come out ahead, as lower unemployment rate. How is this possible if Trump's policy is targeting minorities?

Labor data show that unemployment is rising overall and especially among historically vulnerable groups. Policy decisions under the current administration have exacerbated the trends. Analyses from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and American Progress show that the broader Republican policy agenda, including tax cuts skewed toward wealthier households, cuts to the safety net, and workforce reductions in federal employment, disproportionately harms low-income and predominantly Black households, undermining economic stability for those already at risk.

Bullshit.

According to the 2024 Department of Labor Force Statistics from the Current Population Survey, which includes data on employed persons by detailed occupation, sex, race, and Hispanic or Latino ethnicity, there is no indication of discrimination against white individuals. Whites represent 76.3 percent of the workforce. Latinos were 19.4 percent, Blacks, 12.8 percent and Asians were 7 percent. Where the fallacy in the right wing argument is revealed most is in the various types of management. While whites are 76.3 percent of the overall workforce, they are 76.7 percent of those holding various management positions.

Whites are:

  • 86 percent of the CEOS.
  • 80 percent of the GMS and Operations managers.
  • 92 percent of the Advertising/Promotions managers.
  • 82.6 percent of the Marketing managers.
  • 87 percent of the Sales managers.
  • 88.5 percent of the P.R. and fundraising managers.
  • 80.8 percent of the Administrative services managers.
  • 79.9 percent of the Facilities managers.
  • 71.9 percent of the Computer and Information managers.
  • 77.4 percent of the Financial managers.
  • 78.9 percent of the Human Resource managers.
  • 88.1 percent of the Training and Development managers
  • 81 percent of the Industrial Production managers.
  • 83 percent of the Purchasing managers.
  • 77.2 percent of the Transportation, storage, and Distribution managers.
  • 96.3 percent of Farm, Ranch, and other agricultural managers.
  • 89.3 percent of the Construction managers.
  • 78 percent of the Education and childcare administrators.
  • 75.8 percent of the Food service managers.
  • 80 percent of the Entertainment/Recreation managers.
  • 75.6 percent of the Lodging managers.
  • 76.4 percent of the Medical and Health services managers.
  • 79.6 percent of the Property, Real Estate and Community Associations managers.
  • 77.2 percent of the Social and Community services managers.8

  • It doesn’t stop with management.

  • Whites are:

  • 77 percent of the employees in Business and financial occupations.
  • 64.2 percent of the employees in Computer and mathematic occupations.
  • 76 percent of the employees in Architecture/engineering occupations.
  • 72.6 percent of the employees in the Life, physic and social science occupations.
  • 71.8 percent of the employees in the Community and Social service occupations.
  • 82.1 percent of the employees in the Legal occupations.
  • 78.7 percent of the Education, training and library occupations.
  • 79.7 percent of the Arts, design, entertainment, sports, and media occupations.
  • 79 percent of the police officers.
  • 80.6 percent of the Detectives and criminal investigators.
  • 66.8 percent of of the correction officers and jailers.9
Right now, whites are approximately 60 percent of the American population. Whites have been traditionally overrepresented in every occupation. That's why DEI was created. It was designed to stop racism. White privilege allows whites to complain because they don't get every job, and the white controlled courts listen to these invalid cases then rule based n their racist opinion. The fight against equal opportunity policies is a prime example of how systemic racist operates in this country.

Finally, whites hve benefited the most from policies such as DEI. Specifically, white women. They are the ones who have been the disproportinate amount of employees. THE OPPOSITION TO DEI IS RACIST. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Since I am a black man, I refuse to take any part of the blame for what happened. In what world is 79 percent voting against Trump not showing up for Harris? Please tell me because 79 percent of the black men who voted, did so for Harris. There is no other situation when 21 percent is considered a great gain or show of support. The only situations that I know of where the lowest score wins are cross country and golf. When 79 percent of a group opposes a candidate that is not support. In 2020, Trump got 19 percent of the black male vote. When did 2 percent start qualifying as a big gain?

79 percent of black men, that's about 4 out of 5 black men in America who voted in 2024. So it is time to stop repeating the white media narrative. Whites are why Trump won, not black men.

Trump got 13 percent support from blacks, 46 percent from Hispanics, and 40 percent of the Asian vote. The ONLY group as a population that voted for Trump in a majority, both men and women, were white. So why did the media run stories about record black male support or great increases in Hispanic support, when most of the people in both these groups said NO to Donald Trump? If whites had voted 55 percent for Trump, he would have lost. But they didn’t. 57 percent of the white vote went to Donald Trump. Trump won the election by less than 2 percent.

It is time this narrative stopped. It's time whites stop looking at everything but themselves, and I am talking to white liberals as well as white right-wingers here.

Trump created the best job market for blacks and they dont vote for him? You cant cure stupid

Black men (in particular) didn't show up for Harris.

As a group, it's hard for me to have sympathy for them (as a group). On a case-by-case basis...yep it sucks. No social safety nets; no means of upward mobility...sky high housing costs, food prices out of control; And Wait til the blob and company destroy the postal workers unions.

Its a high price to pay to avoid having a female POTUS but they were willing to pay it.

Pick better candidates.

Wait, actually Harris is the best you've got, isn't she?
