Zone1 Bishop rebukes trump at national prayer breakfast

Notice the word "teachings". Are you sure you have the right teaching for the specific situation? For example, do you believe some, because of sexuality, should be exempt from, "Take up your cross and follow me."
So is that a 'yes' or a 'no' that he has it wrong?

I believe all should be as exempt as I from 'Take up your cross and follow me'.

But then I'm not offended by pleas for mercy for the weak, as opposed to the way the FOTUS and the VP demonstrated their disdain and impatience with that idea in church.

How many do you actually know of the LGBTQetc population? You seem to see them as weak and needy, in need of special attention. Next, you apply 'mercy' to them as if they are being punished. I don't know about the ones you know, but the ones I know don't want to be treated as 'special' or as victims, because the ones I know don't see themselves as such. They stand shoulder to shoulder with everyone else, thus commanding respect just like everyone else.

What kind of mercy are the people you know asking for? From whom are they asking it?
