Birthright Citizenship? Yes/No

That's one opinion, but I don't think the Constitution is a suicide pact. People here on temporary tourist visas, ie birth tourism or here illegally, should not be able to take advantage of our country. The 14th was a post civil war era amendment designed to give citizenship to former slaves.

Would you feel the same way about the Second Amendment? (Rhetorical Question).

Just like the Founders couldn't have anticipated Chinese Birth Tourism (which isn't nearly as dangerous as you think), they also couldn't have anticipated inexpensive semi-automatic weapons.

We can't pick and choose which parts of the Constitution we want to follow.

I'm just not seeing birth tourism as a "suicide pact". There are 300,000 resident alien births every year. While this might seem like a lot, it only represents 0.1% of the population. Many of them will probably never exercise their privilege of American citizens.

In some ways, it could be a benefit. More Chinese-Americans? I'm probably biased, but I just don't see that as a bad thing. I never met a Chinese person who wasn't willing to work their ass off to better themselves. More of that, please!!!

Why would I do that? there are very few of them and they aren't going to make a difference.

I am bothered by the thought of rewarding their racism with asylum. We should just let them take their medicine
As we all know blacks killing whites isn't racism. In the United States it's reparations.

I see it as more Chinese spies, with US citizenship, raised in China and indoctrinated by the CCP. And if your numbers hold, in ten years that's 3 million, 9 million in 30 years. And your using the term "resident aliens" insinuates that they are here legally when the majority are not.

300,000 annual is close to 10% of a 3.6 million annual estimate of us live births .

Which percentage of those 300,000 annual live births to resident aliens become entreated to 18 years of social subsistence based on maternal income ?

There are currently 53 million foreign-born Americans. Perhaps 15 million of them are undocumented.

Also, there is not a Chinese hiding under your bed.

There is a Chinese person in my bed, but the worst thing she does is snore loudly.
