There is no shortage of refrigeration on modern ships so they should have shipped his body to the military morgue in Dover, Del. for identification and autopsy and then ship it back to the jihad for burial. I don't understand why B. Hussein O was so anxious to announce Laden's passing. Staying silent on the whacking, at least until the matter could be assessed and weighed would have been a better solution.

And since Obama has a proven record of lying, disposing of the corpus by any means leaves doubt as to whether the deed was done or not.

A lot to have been said for displaying Ladin's body coast to coast. Maybe loaning the corpus to RIngling Brothers to use in their sideshow.

Obama would be foolish to lie about something like that. If Bin Laden turned up alive after Obama announced his death Obama woud be seen as a fool and would have no credibility anymore.

No he wouldn't have necessarily been foolish at all if he did that. An announcement of his death could be a tactic to entice someone who is keeping a low profile to stand up and expose themselves, perhaps to take risks.

He was identified and why do an autopsy on someone with a hole in their forehead?

Bury him at sea where no one can visit the martyr's grave.
