Biden student loan forgiveness

He's not forgiving anything.
He's just forcing people who didn't go to college to pay for wokesters programming & useless gender study degrees.

No such thing as a free lunch, someone else is paying

Exactly. I go to work and create taxes for the Communists to buy votes. So I worked to put other people through college to become a doctor or a lawyer. Now when I need their services that I paid to educate them for, they charge me $400.00 an hour for their services. Where is the equity in that?

The White House announced Tuesday an additional $3.9 billion in student loan forgiveness, this time for borrowers who attended defunct ITT Technical Institute.
The latest round brings Joe Biden's student loan forgiveness total to $32 billion since taking office – but progressive are still pushing for the president to cancel all existing federal student loans.
Borrowers are also still waiting to hear if federal loan pause will be extended for a fifth time as the latest deadline approaches.

Comment:
Biden is using the Taxpayer's money to buy votes.
The creepy, corrupt and racist Democrat Party is enslaving Americans to taxes and debt.
Nothing is free.

There is such a simple solution to all this. What this country needs is a national consumption tax. Let's say 10 cents on the dollar.

The new consumption tax will be used to pay off deficit spending, and if anything left over, goes to the national debt.

Now, if they want to spend hundreds of billions on the climate farce, fine. We raise the consumption tax to 15 cents on the dollar. College debt forgiveness, add another 2 cents to make it 17 cents on the dollar. Funding the Ukraine war, another two cents.

Any deficit spending not covered by the new 10 cent consumption tax increases the tax. Everybody has a dog in the race.

The way we do things now, our reps spend hundreds of billions of dollars on garbage, putting us further and further in debt, but few care because they will never have to pay for it directly or indirectly.

If we had to pay for all this spending when it takes place, you'd see how satisfied people would be with the environment and letting kids pay for their own college. A perfect solution to our spending problem. And if you don't want your consumption tax increased, choose who you vote for carefully.

Rand Paul puts out an annual report of just some of the wasteful spending. Everybody should read it.

That will only give Congress incentive to spend more.

It amazes me how naïve Republicans are about government spending. Congress will spend every cent it gets and then 5 more. Additional revenue will always be used for more spending. Always.

No. They still pay taxes. Just less tax.

Obama's bail-outs were free. President Trump's tax breaks were not.
Who makes up the free tax money giveaway? The former 1-term president's tax breaks didn't just add to the deficit...How?

Of Course MDs Are Greedy. That's What 8 Years of College Slavery Makes Them.

Proof of how Americans are totally dumbed-down is they insist it's all about tuition. I dare the plutocrats who control this debate to send their spoiled-putrid brats to college, only paying their tuition and giving them nothing to live on.

And you won't have to pay the deserving students' salaries. They will be recruited, signed up, and given this bonus by the corporations who need them.

I don't know if I would call doctors greedy. They gave up the best years of their life to study medicine while the rest if us were out making money, partying and having a good time. They graduate with an unbelievable amount of debt that takes years to pay off even at their rate of pay. Furthermore they have to carry malpractice insurance. Like auto insurance, that can be very expensive until until you get a few years of experience behind your belt, and even then, it's still expensive afterwards.

To me, college is like any other investment. You spend money in hopes of getting that money back with a profit. For a doctor, those profits are probably not realized until they get in their mid-30's at least. A specialist? Probably not until their early 40's.

Biden and Democrats talk about “reigning in oil companies”. It’s time to reign in Big Education and the irresponsible parents and students who rack up hundreds of thousands in loans for some bullshit degree with no demand. Cap student loans.

A solution (or partial solution) would be to make a law nobody can go to college until the age of 21. Let these kids live at home, get a full-time job, save every dollar they can. When they turn 21, they can use what they saved for college and still be able to replenish their college fund working full time when school is out of session.

If we (they) did that, by the time a person graduates college, they will have no liabilities because they paid cash for education; either that or they would have a small easily managed debt to repay.

Many kids have no Fn idea what they want to be for the rest of their lives. If you work for a few years, talk to a lot of people, learn a lot of things, you're more mature and knowledgeable of what you want to do for a living for the rest of your life.

One of my tenants had a party for her five year old daughter last year. I thought it would be a great idea to get her a college savings account. I'd put in a few hundred bucks to open it up and let her mother take it from there. To my surprise, there is no such thing as a college account. I just assumed there must be; something like an IRA only for college instead. It doesn't exist.

I know a guy who became an MD and paid off all his loans in two years. He earned about $800K/yr

All College Means Is Buying a Job. That Puts Inferior People in Superior Positions.

LISTEN UP,,,,,If you attended a crap school YOUR LOAN CAN BE CANCELLED and this has been in place for DECADES. Biden is using this fact to look good while doing nothing that wasnt already in place,. Student loans will never be excused in bulk because they were monetized and turned into investment vehicles back in 2008 when US Bonds were not paying crap. If you default, your loan value will triple from fees.

That's so dumb it's hard not to just laugh & ignore it.
Smaller govt & less spending is the exact opposite of a fascist authoritarian govt but I doubt you can understand that.

Whatever you pay that team of monkeys to write for you is way too much.
I think they're just F*ing with you to see how stupid you can sound
Forget trying to reason with a left tard, they dont think, they feel. Trying to tell them that fascism, Nazism , communism, socialism are all LEFT WING ideologies and they require a POLICE STATE to enforce their draconian rules is futile to obese purple hair freaks.
