...If the democrats want proof that the Trump admin saved about 1m US lives just look at the record...
Yep. Somebody sold the Orange Baboon on the idea of an accelerated vaccine development program and he bought into it.
Mostly because he wanted to get reelected and the sooner the pandemic was over the better the economy would be on November 3rd.
As President he gets the credit... he was right to back the idea... and, as I've said before, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
But he screwed the pooch with respect to...
1. timely public recognition of the coming pandemic
2. manufacture
3. distribution
4. leadership
...and all of that has cost - and continues to cost - scores of thousands of lives that would otherwise have been saved.
And, when you add-in his betrayal of the American People on January 6 and his crybaby behavior and seclusion since November 3, well...
It's hard to continue to give-two-$hits about giving the Orange Benedict Arnold credit any longer.
You didn't read my post correctly. The "experts" (Dr. Fauci et.al.) told Trump that it would take about 2.5 years to get a vaccine developed, tested, produced, and get to shots in arms, and even that would be a "medical miracle". Trump said "bullshit", and along with Pence and the Task Group they shortened the time from 30-months to 9-months. You're welcome.
1. Timely public recognition of the pandemic: Thanks to disinformation by China and the WHO who said there was no human-to-human transmission. Trump stopped flights from China while Xiden called Trump "xenophobic". Score another for Trump.
2. The Trump admin pre-funded the manufacture of vaccines "at risk". Score another win for Trump and the US. (That advanced move saved about a year itself) You're welcome.
(Reuters) - In the race to develop a vaccine to end the COVID-19 pandemic, governments, charities and Big Pharma firms are sinking billions of dollars into bets with extraordinarily low odds of success.

3. Xiden kept Dr. Fauci in charge of the vaccines. If he was doing a bad job wouldn't Joe replace him with someone competent, like Kamala. I'm sure "heels-up" would have done a bang-up job developing vaccines.
4. Leadership. Killing energy jobs, having Canada pissed off at us, and having the EU not help us with China is failed leadership. Xiden has never been right about anything, just ask old DOD Secretary Gates. You may not like Trump's management style, I don't either, but you can't argue with his policy successes. He gets things done.
5. Trump's compression of vaccine development time from an optimistic 30 months to 9-months saved at least a million US lives. Like I said, just think about Kamala leading the vaccine effort, ugh. You're welcome.
6. The January 6th protest was a bad idea. But I'm not pre-judging Trump until I read the investigative books who prove or disprove voter fraud. The DC protesters were protesting the lack of real voter fraud investigations, when it got out of control. Here is one example of voter fraud that needs to be investigated, there are hundreds of examples.
Republican lawmakers in Pennsylvania say an "alarming discrepancy" in the presidential vote count is two times larger than the margin of President-elect Joe Biden's victory in the state.Their analysis, released on Monday by state Rep. Frank Ryan and more than a dozen colleagues, found different...

7. Looks bad to have the Capital surrounded by the military and barbed-wire fencing to protect the crooks from the people. It used to be called "The People's House", now it's "Nancy's House".
