Just drawing the parallels that exist. This movement that is underway currently under Biden is just an extension of something that was tried and luckily failed under HW Bush. We must be increasingly more vigilant in protecting against this globalist movement. The problem is that the American public has become so blind and complacent that the idea that we may be sold down the river by our own government, that the government has felt they can and have gotten away with anything they want.
It usually becomes apparently quite quickly that they have no intention of saving the healthcare system money when you start pulling out their sacred cows for slaughter. Heck, just mention the healthcare costs abortion places on the system and watch their heads explode.

He was referring to federal income taxes. Specifically the taxes Trump cut.
He was responding to RW misinformation that he was going to take away the tax cuts for working level Americans. He made it clear that if you made less than $400,000 (the threshold for the highest rate on FEDERAL INCOME TAXES) your rate would not change.
In spite of your false claims, he was not talking about cigarette taxes, liquor taxes, gas or energy tax or other Federal taxes

Taxation is necessary but taxing substances or chemicals that harm a person's health is taxation with other side benefits. Mainly lowering the cost of health care by raising Canada's life expectancy well above America's. And then adding another benefit of making the health care tax bill lower.

I did. The premise of your statement is incorrect. People chose to smoke. There’s no necessity. The working poor do not choose to work. They do so because it is a necessity.
These are not comparable.
