Then the Democrats try to pass a bill that increases capital gains and tobacco taxes.

Joe Biden is therefore saying that no one that earns under $400k purchases tobacco products or buys and sells real estate or stocks.

Raising the tax on capital gains will be very bad. The stock market is the place corporations get funds to expand and create jobs. Raising the CG tax will diminish investment in land building and equipment. It will kill economic growth.

I don't agree with any "sin taxes"..... they do hit the poor disproportionately! There are Democratic critters in congress fighting the cigarette tax, for this reason.... I doubt it will make it in to the bill, when said and done.

But if it does, the poor people who are smokers, will more than get their money back with the benefits specifically for them, in the bill.
