Biden finally condemns rioting

He’s consistently called for prosecution of criminals and for peaceful protests along with measured police response to protests. For months. Don’t be stupid boys.

Creepy Joe NOT on the same page as Kamala Harris, not that surprising considering he's Senile and is a Basement Dweller and does NOT even know what day it is most of the time.

The below is from LESS than 24 hours ago, Kamala Harris says the riots SHOULD continue and SHOULD continue AFTER the Election and she smiles her way through saying all of that. So she's FOR the rioting and FOR the rioting to CONTINUE for MANY MONTHS = NO Condemning them, Creepy Joe of course is NOT the Candidate, Harris IS the Candidate and so peoples should ignore EVERYTHING the Senile old man in the basements babbles and instead LISTEN to what Harris says.

Kamala Harris in the below clip says that the rioting SHOULD continue, it SHOULD continue and there is NO WAY Leftists can spin THAT into that she is condemning anything, when she is ENCOURAGING it to CONTINUE:

She said protests. Come on. I’m not stupid. Are you?

“The act of protesting should never be allowed to overshadow the reason we protest,” Biden said in a statement Saturday night. “It should not drive people away from the just cause that protest is meant to advance.”

That doesn't sound like much of a condemnation to me.

See the two videos I just posted of Kamala Harris less than 24 hours ago saying that the rioting SHOULD continue and for MANY MONTHS it SHOULD continue, she refers to the rioting as a "Movement"
I see you responded to the 3 examples I posted of Biden condemning rioting to shut this thread down with a video of Harris not saying what you say she says. Come on over to our side. You can use facts and logic over here. Makes debating easier and you can hold onto your dignity. Always open.

One thing is crystal clear: all of these cities and states that are having nightly riots, violence, and destruction of personal and public property are run by democrats. But no mention of any of that during the DNC convention, not even by Biden himself. He's worried about the Soul of America, but evidently he's not too worried about how many lives are lost and livelihoods destroyed every freakin' night somewhere. Public safety and security ought to be a major concern, and yet the democrats don't care. At every level of gov't, they don't care who gets hurt. Right up until they find out it's hurting their chances in the elections, but even then we do not hear Biden or any other democrat calling for the local democrat politicians to do what is necessary to end this mayhem. All I hear is "Oh, this is Bad! This is wrong!" But it's been 3 effing months and the democrats ain't doing anything to stop it. Has any mainstream democrat called for the mayors and governors to step up and end this shit? I don't think so, and IMHO every person who aligns with the Democratic Party ought to feel ashamed of what's been going on.

"Needless violence won’t heal us," Biden tweeted on Wednesday in response to the riots that erupted over the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man. "We need to end the violence -- and peacefully come together to demand justice."

This week, when riots erupted after the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wis., Biden’s initial response was to call for an investigation and for the police officers to be held “accountable.” He also talked about the need to “dismantle systemic racism."

However, it was not until Wednesday that Biden himself condemned the violence that followed -- a day after his campaign had released a similar statement. A video statement begins with outrage about Blake's shooting. He then says that “protesting brutality is a right and absolutely necessary but burning down buildings is not protest -- it’s needless violence.”

“Violence that endangers lives. Violence that guts businesses and shutters businesses that serve the community,” he said. “That’s wrong.”

Not enough, Joe. You've got to call for every democrat mayor, governor, and city council of every city that has these riots going on every freakin' night to get a superior force out there and put an end to the violence and destruction. It's not enough to say all this crap is wrong, you've got to demand that the appropriate actions be taken to restore law and order. C'mon man, you're looking like a guy that is owned by the Far Left of your Party; are you too afraid to speak out? Or are you okay with all the lawlessness that is going on?
Returning America to more normal environment by end most of the rioting. That will only happen by bring the virus under control which will bring back jobs and open up schools. So many of protesters are on streets protesting because they have no work, no school, and little or no money.

Biden is a better choice than Trump when it comes to race because Black people are about as likely to listen to Trump as they are the Grand Wizard of the KKK. Biden can certainly be a united, he can be a safe, a trusted voice, but he can also signal a return to some sanity around race politics for many people who have been turned off by Trump.

Riot control measures used by the police usually fail when there is severe anger with a legitimate cause. The greater law enforcement the more people that turnout. Innocent bystanders, usually young people are attracted to excitement which adds to problems. The surest way to stop the riots is to effectively address the reason of the protests.

This is nonsense, how long do you think it will take to address the reasons for the protests and incorporate the necessary changes? Do we have to put up with all this violence and destruction until that happens? Do you believe that defunding or even abolishing the police depts is the answer? How long will that take, it ain't like you can snap your fingers and it's done. Or do you think all this rioting will cease when somebody makes some promises? I think there are quite a few individuals and groups out there that don't give a rats ass about BLM and police misconduct. These aren't law-abiding people.

Let me tell you when this shit will end: it will end when law enforcement and the Natl Guard arrive in an overwhelming show of force and arrest the assholes who are currently rampaging through our big cities. And not one minute sooner.

Rioting, in protest of a number of social problems are a product of large cities, not just in the US but in countries all over the world. If there were no democrat party in the US, there would still be riots and protests against discrimination, mistreat by law enforcement, homelessness, and poverty in our large cities because that is were the problems are most prevalent. The democrat party has focused on social problems over the last hundred years attacking financial inequality, discrimination, and social injustice in large cities. Republicans preferring to ignore these problems have abandon the big cities for the suburbs, smaller cities, and towns.

It will end when the problem is solved. It will abate when covid 19 is under control and people return to their jobs and schools leaving less time to protest. More riot control does not solve the problem. It just attracts more protesters, rioters, and bystanders which just make it worse. It doesn't do any good to arrest rioters unless there are serious charges and evidence because the courts are overcrowded as are the jails thus they are released within day or so.

You are correct that there are people on the streets that have no interest in protests but they are there to burn and pillage. These people should be locked up but that is not as easy as it sounds.

I certainly do not believe in de-funding the police. I'm all for developing more community resources such as community service people, mental health professionals, and social workers that help families in serious need, job training, help for the mentally disturbed, and kids being pulled into gangs and criminal activity. Once these services reduce crime, then it's time to reduce police present.

Joe is not president last I checked. How about you turn your mind on the guy in charge, is he helping or is he doing as you are, blaming others. Is that a trait with Trump followers? Weak people refuse to accept responsibility. The irony here is this turmoil and violence is going on now under Trump and the republicans. Does anyone not see that? I guess not. Violence hate crimes and apologetic nonsense such as Trump's there are good white supremacists is OK I guess. The last administration had issues as all do, but the level of violence and hate has grown under Trump and the republicans. To deny that is to deny reality and it seems followers do that as many on this board attest. Hate crimes have grown under Trump and when you read the hate directed at democrats you must realize how easily some are made evil. The killer with the rifle is a clear example. The driver who killed is another example. This is Trump's world and denying it is a lie told to the self.

Joe Biden has had over THREE MONTHS to condemn this racism, hate, murder, violence, and arson.

This was a mealy-mouth, milquetoast, remarks far too late and far too little. His handlers are scared that if he says anything against their base, the criminals won't vote for Biden and will stay home. Disgusting and repulsive.

Actually, it is as easy as it sounds. The governors formally request that President Trump send in the National Guard and all other federal law enforcement available. The F.B.I., I.C.E., Secret Service, U.S. Marshal Service, border patrol, and confront these rioters with overwhelming force, loading them on busses and prosecuting each and every one.

Problem solved!

Correlation does not imply causation. Most of these cities have above average rat population, so rats must be cause, right. There is actually a lot of data showing high population density of low income families is far more likely the cause than political party membership or which party the mayor belongs or how the city voted in the last election.

No that doesn't solve the problem for several reasons. First, being the problem of systemic racism within law enforcement will still exist and when the unequal treatment of blacks by the police occur so will the protests and riots. Second, no governor is going as the ask the federal government to send in federal law enforcement. As far bringing in federal law enforcement to enforce local and state laws, no federal court would prosecute thus it would accomplish nothing other than creating a number laws suites against the federal government by the states and local government.

Now what do all the Biden followers say? Theyve been defending this as a social justice awakening.

Now it's wrong.

Will they suddenly just switch gears like lemmings, and say ENOUGH or is their emotional investment too strong in the violence?

Tune in tomorrow...

By your use of the word "He's", I can only believe that you are referring to President Donald Trump. Especially since Joe Biden has been held in his basement.

Yes, Biden is always 2-steps behind TRUMP. In addition to finally calling for the end to violence, he, Biden was

1) Behind TRUMP on the Travel Band at the onset of the pandemic &

2) Behind TRUMP on opening the country back-up.
