Biden drops "free college" from his massive taxing and spending bill

They will take out some fluff to get it passed, while taking over the country's finances remains the target. Let this pass and they will hook our bank accounts up the the IRS and suck our accounts dry. That is where this is headed. They want to install penalty withdrawals.
Pass this bill and usher in socialism.

Yupp. A reconciliation bill of 2 trill on top of a combined 1+ trill infrastructure bill, still makes the ol' New Deal look like a soup line!
Dimm's are hiding all sorts of land mines in it to 'Pearl Harbor' their fellow Americans.
Manchin & Sinema are gonna let their party 'jap y'all'!!
You read it here first!

It's not free, dipshit. Those of us who contribute to society (me) are paying for those who don't (you).

When they plow snow in front of my home do I receive a bill?
When I take a book out at the Library, do I pay a fee?
When cops investigate a crime at my house, do I get a bill?
When my kid enters second grade, do they send me a bill?

Those are “free” public services that are taken out of our taxes

You are entitled to a free public education whether you can afford it or not.
It is what made America great

NOT "by Joe"...by Mancin and Sinema. Let's be honest
If you want to look at it like that, then President Biden is in no way responsible for what those representatives and senators are discussing. You can't have it both ways. But, that's silly isn't it?
The thread title and the article said President Biden dropped it, in order to go along with moderate democrats. Leads me to believe he is making concession on the requested legislation to get the dollar figure lower, by giving up some programs the left wanted. Sounds like a positive thing, to me. I maybe an independent moderate in general, but fairly fiscal conservative, and figure any belt can be tightened, especially if someone is selling one too damn big. One would think you could support cutting down the size also, and agree that Joe Biden giving up some non infrastructure spending was a good thing, unless it is just a republican thing, so hate him, no matter what he does.
Is that it?

That is the way Government used to work…….Compromise

Biden compromised with Republicans to get the Basic Infrastructure passed
Now he is working with Democrats to get Social Infrastructure passed

Suckers :auiqs.jpg:The sheeple fall for the Dem's lies every election.

When he first said it I flagged that as outright lie. He only said it to get younger voters to vote for him. Plain and simple. It was an intentional lie and nothing more.

It's the same thing Bernie Sanders does, try to appeal to younger people with complete lies.

Wait until the dupes find out Biden isn't going to cure cancer like he said he would, either.

It was included in the original bill
It doesn’t have the votes

That is how politics works

I am not for free education for all. That’s dumb. It’s a valuable service and college grads make $1M more than non college grads over their life. It also forces people to be wise with their investment in education.

Means based support I 100% agree with. This is a good drop for the Dems. From the article:

There will be something for higher education, but it probably won't be the free community college," Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), chairwoman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus Tuesday, said after CNN reported the details of the meeting with Biden. Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) told CNN's Jake Tapper on "The Lead" that Biden would include "community college scholarships" in the bill.

#1 - a trillion dollars is just a word to you and your ilk!

#2 - the reconciliation bill is being last minute and revised in secret by only one-party and you have no problem with it!

#3 - You should give up American politics and just admit that you are a trusting one-party true believer and a Neo-Marxist besides!!

:ahole-1:! A very, very stupid one.

With these two it's again like working with (corporate) Republicans

You confuse local & state taxes with Federal!
God, you're such an :ssex: assclown.

I'm not sure that statement has any meaning.

This is clearly NOT something Biden favored but rather what Mancin and Sinema have forced on him

Like it or not...THAT is the truth

I respect Joe Manchin

He was elected as a Democrat in heavily Republican West Virginia. He does what he has to do

All the above you pay TAXES for and you PERSONALLY benefit from them. College is not “ free education” Still haven’t explained why we owe Illegal immigrants free college tuition

You asked a question that ignored what you yourself quoted

You’re too stupid to talk to
You’re extremely stupid and defensive. Asked you questions you have no answers for because you’re a moron
