WTF?

On his first day in office he prioritizes this????

Can't wait one day to start knobbing the far left who think history means nothing more than hating America? Looking clearly and honestly at both the good and the bad in our history isn't enough for these scumbags. It has to be all anti-America all the time or they want nothing to do with it. Old man joe is already crawling through hoops for the hateful, spiteful far left.

Not a good sign.

Shocker !
You ain't seen nothing yet honorary White man
Yep. They are going to beat Americans over the head with all kinds of crazy Marxist shit now that Americans gave the far left power.

From wikipedia's "The commission, which included no professional specialists in United States history,[1] released The 1776 Report on Martin Luther King Day, January 18, 2021, two days before the end of Trump's term.[2] The report was strongly criticized by historians, who described the report as pseudohistory"
Historians are all leftists. It's good that they weren't included. They are America's enemies. Their job is the same as that of Winston Smith, the lead character in 1984. Their job is to rewrite history to promote the agenda of the Democrat Reich.
Yes they are. It was Archeology professors drawing diagrams on Twitter that showed the rioters how to topple statues.

These jackasses are who are teaching our kids.

It's the rewriting American history to cut out the parts that make you uncomfortable. When you failed to lived up to your ideals.
LOL yes that is exactly it. The 1619 project will rewrite all the history books used in classrooms to prove that our fledgling country failed to live up to ideals set hundreds of years into the future. Forget historical context, forget that nearly all major nations in the 1600 and 1700s were involved in the slave trade. None of that matters, we must engage in this self flagellation to beat down America and strengthen the New World Order.

Trust me I have 0 beef in politics. Infact I align a lot with conservative views but....
You so called cons of America in general, are hypocrites, mostly racists, very regressive and have higher rates of idiocy.
From FOXNEWS to trump and even in here, you guys say the dumbest shit ever. It is hard to convince you how clueless you are because you were brought up in ignorance all your life.

Do you know what was missing from the 1776 Commission?

Historians.

Historians, in turn, generally agree that the report -- released by the Presidential Advisory 1776 Commission -- is garbage. The document lacks citations, fails to mention Native Americans entirely, traffics heavily in American “values” at the expense of objective truths and bemoans the “radicalization of American politics” from the 1960s onward.

David Blight, Sterling Professor of American History at Yale University, said that academic historians, “even those with conservative instincts, will discredit this report whenever asked. We value research, facts, evidence, and then interpretation and debate above ideology. At least most of us do.”

Beyond academe, Blight said he was hopeful that the report “will have very little lasting power.” But even as President Trump is about to leave office, he said, “Trumpism is not going away,” and the report gives his supporters a “documentary calling card" in form of an official White House publication.

Here's the problem. It failed to live up to the ideals set up at the time.

"All Men Are Created Equal (except for blacks, native Americans, women, etc.)

"Liberty and Justice for All (except for blacks, minorities, the poor, etc.)

So let's get down to the brass tacks, shall we?

America's revolution was not a popular revolution, it was a revolution of a mercantile, bourgeoise class against a far away government. They weren't fighting for any big ideals of "Democracy", at that point, the UK was a parliamentary democracy and George III was largely a figurehead who held very little real power.

Now, one an argue that we DID improve and we did evolve in areas of civil rights and equality over time. That's actually a much better story. We've improved ourselves, and we can continue to improve.

Or we can do what fading empires do, revel in the tales of past glories, romanticize the past, which was actually a pretty miserable time to live in.

Go put your straw man to bed.
Strawman?

On the evening of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the White House released the final report from its "1776 Commission" - a document that excuses America's history of slavery, derides the legacy of the civil rights movement and equates progressivism with totalitarianism..
But if you want to contend slavery was moral and the ends justified the means who is anyone to piss in your punch bowl? They are your delusions after all.
Maybe you should read from some other sources.

The white supremacist lying about your history will end.
.....
Once again, NOT YOUR COUNTRY. You don't know what you're talking about, but that doesn't seem to slow down your big mouth one bit.
Once again, you fools bring up my nationality every single time you cannot refute the information posted. It's laughable that you're all so consistent in this. I live alone and I'm in lockdown. I ain't going anywhere.

Nationally, we are cousins. Our founders emigrated from the same countries, and we share a common background and history. We literally have an open border, and we all have a lot of family on both sides of the border. My family landed in what is now Quebec City in 1741. I literally have aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins living in the USA.

Currently, the USA is the crack house next door. Until you stop lying to yourselves, and start behaving yourselves and working together, it behoves the entire world to stand up and tell you to stop the partisan bullshit and lying.

Especially the lying.

I, for one, am opposed to decommissioning the 1776 report. It should not be hidden from our schoolchildren that the American rebels bravely took over the airports during the American Revolution.

The 1776 commission was a call out to racists and racism. It has no place here.

I think Tex and Ala can adequately defend the history of whites without federal help. They seemed ready at the time.
