I'd like to remind everyone the US almost started a Nuclear War in 1962 over missiles in Cuba, while the US put missiles into Turkey (same distance away from Moscow as Cuba is from Washington DC). But can anyone imagine what would have happened if Russia said "we don't care about your red line" and started sinking US ships blockading Cuba?

They actually caused this during the Obama Aministration when Obama financed Terrorists to start COUPS in Egypt, Syria, Libya and Ukraine and destabilized all 4 governments, assassinated Qadaffi, and removed 3 of the 4 leaders of each country. Only Assad in Syria remained.

If you saw the struggle they endured to topple Yanukovych 2013-2014 you'd know that no one is going to make them a part of Russia, period.
