I don't think we can really blame him for causing it but he absolutely made a lot of moves that emboldened Putin starting with his cutting off lethal aid to Ukraine within a few months of taking office.

He further emboldened Putin when he said that if there was an incursion at most it might result in some sanctions.

Trying to impeach a president for actions taken prior to holding the office is an obviously purely political chicken shit move.

Actually it's not. Foreign Policy is the absolute purview of the Executive branch. No law was broken in these negotiations.

You don't impeach presidents simply because they implement policies you don't like.

Doing so would set a horrendous precedent for the future and end with the violent dissolution of the country.
