Will it escalate?

It will probably escalate as the strikes in Yemen are not working. The U.S. strikes are responded to with more Houthi strikes. This leaves Biden with two choices. Either cut and run, or escalate.

The only escalation which could be effective would be to strike Iran. That might not be accepted well by the American people.

I doubt that Biden could get congressional approval to conduct a large scale military operation against Iran. The AOC wing certainly won’t support it.
