Putin was planning to invade Ukraine regardless of anything Nato or Ukraine did. It's not even debatable that most Russians consider Ukraine to be part of russia (and the vast maj of Ukrainians wanting none of that shit LOL) And it's not debatable that Putin's aims for years have been to recreate some version of the pre 1991 Russian empire. He simply waited till Trump was out of office and covid and recession had placed the west in a weaker than before position.Putin is responsible for the invasion, it's his army.
