Zone1 Bible says (recent Mass readings repeat) that it is better NOT to marry. So why so many marriages?

Paul gave his personal judgment (not inspired judgment) that in the present distress it would be better to remain single.
He was inspired OBVIOUSLY

And it is always true (doesn't matter what era one lives in) that it is better to remain single.

FACT: Most men who molest children are MARRIED.

This is because married men have sex on a regular basis. Once the demon of lust is allowed to have free reign (for lack of a better way to put it), it... well, it's a demon.

And demons who are sexually aroused... are not always easily aroused by... say, a wife who doesn't want to do kinky things... and so men turn to porn and then from there they go to child molestation and other perversions.

Only something like 2% of Catholic priests have been credibly accused or convicted of molesting children. What about the other 98%?

Again, Most men who molest children are married

The whole psg was there, if I recall (I"d have to check the Catholic Missal or mass readings). In any case, this Catholic knew about that "burn" thing

My Bible and many others do NOT say what you claim. It says in many Bibles "It is better to marry than to burn." PERIOD

Burn with lust?

Burn in Hell?

Most Bibles do NOT clarify

And the Bibe does not interpret itself.

Marriage can be cover for lots of aberrant sexual behaviors.

These days, people act like there is something wrong w/ you if you are not married, at least at some point in your life. I've never been married... had some relationships here and there but never married.

In the Mass readings recently we heard (I believe it was) St Paul speaking on this, how the married person is divided (btwn serving God and serving spouse) so that it is better not to marry (unless.. well, God does condone some marriages... but that's not there in those scripture psgs... There are many things not mentioned in Scripture but I won't digress further)

Anyway, I have found romantic relationships to be extremely difficult and there is pretty much no way I would ever marry anyone... unless God just stood b4 me and told me to marry so and so... and even then, I would probably think it was just the devil in disguise... He disguises himself as an angel of light, you know...

I just don't understand why virtually everyone is married... and not all of them have a great marriage, either... hardly!
ALL romantic sexual - ALL plan old sexual activity of any kind is a sin if you are not married. It can be the sin of fornication or the sin of adultery. I speak in terms of heterosexual male-female only. As ALL other same sex gender stuff is a sin period with or without sex. Let God be God, Amen.

If one chooses not to marry they must also choose to remain celibate. Those who want to have kids and a family they must get married. God allows for marriage between a natural born male and a natural born female ONLY, so no one has to sin. Blessings.

I did not say (and do not believe) otherwise

No, it does NOT say that
Catholics have the core Biblical teaching of 'Vocation"
The aim in life is not to follow Jesus so as to have no difficulty, effort, or growth--- to just sit on your butt and then die.
IF you have the call to a vocation that precludes marriage St Paul is saying " don't cry about it, rejoice, there are advantages'
Hard to believe Paul feels it better that his own parents never had him !!!
Jesus went to the wedding at Cana, if you want to think He opened up His public ministry by repudiating His own parents, you should get some help
Marriage is a sacrament and it is more difficult than being single but if it is your vocation then being single will be the cause for your conemnation.

Isn't it, IF YOU CAN BE CELIBATE, then it is better not to marry?
