No idea what circles you might be talking about. You can believe what you want, but I spent most of my life as an adamant believer. Was even a Southern Baptist deacon for a while. Upon retirement, I started an in depth study of the Bible, intending to become a better Christian. That's when I realized that if the god of the bible did exist, his hateful and petty ways made him unworthy of worship.
