They both believe in fairytales, so they have that in common
And yet according to Darwin and the founding fathers of freedom and liberty, religion provides a functional advantage that no other entity can perform.

People like you read Genesis as if it were a fairytale. I read Genesis like it’s how ancient man passed down their understanding of the origin questions, historical events and knowledge they deemed important enough for future generations to know.
 
Islam and Christianity both believe in a monotheistic God, but otherwise, have very little in common.
