The civil lawsuit for malicious prosecution and civil rights violations was filed Thursday at the state district court in Santa Fe, where a judge dismissed his charge of involuntary manslaughter.

He alleges defamation, and claims prosecutors and investigators intentionally mishandled evidence during their investigation into the shooting.

The case wasn't thrown out because he was innocent. It was thrown out due to DA misbehavior. Nobody doubts the man shot this woman dead. There is no "prosecutorial excesses" (whatever the fuck that is) by charging him for killing her accordingly.

Baldwin was well aware that the armorer was proven to be not qualified and extremely careless. Yet there he was "horsing around" playing with a gun like a stupid child as if it was a cap gun. This was not part of the scene or script.....this was him having fun pretending to shoot people that were frustrating him at the work site. Of course movie sets are different regarding gun safety....they have many strict protocols and extremely redundant safety rules required by law and their insurers. Baldwin is indeed responsible for his criminal negligence and should be in prison.

But his lawsuit has less value than his reputation has ever been worth.

It seems that he was let go due to some officials "mishandling evidence"....so it was simply a technicality that got him off the hook. One must wonder if those officials were paid ( millions) to mishandle the evidence that gave Baldwin a get out of jail free card.
