The idea that entitlements are rights is a socialist idea at best. Propagating the idea that minorities, or anyone else, are entitled to support from the government is exactly what keeps the minorities dependent on that support.

It high time we institute a pay as you go system for both our government and our citizens.

because they just pander to the voters who would like to see this happen and then dont do much to satify these voters while in office. They just do stupid stuff like meddle in family affairs like the Shiavo case and stop research that could save lives like stem cell research.

The real problem with them is they do the bidding of the corporations which ends up giving the regular Joe an economy that distroys everthing they try to build for themselves.

So let me see if i understand you correctly. People dont love their children or their parents/grandparents unless they abrogate all responsibility for them and place it on the government? If anything, the last thing someone will do if they love someone is make the government support them. They would *gasp* do it themselves!
