I agree that there are a core group of radical leftists, aka "progressives" that will always be radical.
I also think that there is a similar group on the far right.
As long as we keep them on the fringes we're fine.
When one group or the other gets too much political power, then the majority needs to make a major course correction, like in the 2024 election.

Our fringe is much closer to center now, as the right has been pulled past center to slightly left trying to appease the leftist woke agenda! A good start would be eliminating DEI, and affirmative action.
