In my early years in the US Army, I was part of various drill teams. But nothing like this. You don't have to be ex-military to enjoy this. But, having been there will help you appreciate just how difficult this is.

Drill teams are impressive especially up close where you can hear everything. During RTC at Orlando (while in a recovery company after an injury,) if I was on my way somewhere and the drill team was coming along I'd stop and tie my shoes very slowly to enjoy it.
