Every one of these Democrat talking-heads is drilling J D Vance as if they feel the need to prep him for the next election.
What it amounts to is back-biting and trash talking with zero foundation.
And it's all about politics.
Just today alone I've seen several people like Paul Riekoff on Bill Maher trashing the VP on Maher's show last Friday.
They're trying to turn J D Vance into the butt of everyone's jokes.
Paul Riekoff has claimed that he was stationed with 19th SF Group, which is a National Guard unit.
It appears that he lied. He was never station with a Special Forces unit.
He was also seen in pictures wearing a BSM and checking his DD-214 it has the BSM listed but he doesn't have any orders in his service jacket.
I was awarded a MSM after I left the service, so I never got the orders, and it was never entered into my DD-214 because I got the award a long time after I retired. That means I have no proof that I could wear it.....which is why I never did. However I was told I got it by my command. These are some of the things that go by the wayside when you're in the military.
My point is, if you're going to trash anyone, you'd better have your ducks in order or somebody is going to find something out about you that you don't want made public. Especially if you're some Stolen Valor individual.

Now, I've been in reviews of my 2-1 file and discovered that I rated the wearing of a medal that I knew nothing about. This was the case with my SSDM, but a Bronze Star is a big deal.....and not having orders to back it up means you never got it.In his letter, he writes; “Since the photo in question, I have not worn or claimed the BSM—as you have noted.” Yeah, that’s the only photo I could find of him with the BSM, so if he’s so sure that he earned a BSM, why did he stop wearing it after that picture? See what I mean by more questions?
