Average Gas Price Hits $4.30 A Gallon

Oil prices are reactionary and can jump based on not only actual policy and reality, but also policy speculation and lies.
Progressives are causing the higher prices due to giving information to the Iranian leadership. Progressive Socialist Communist politicians have made many comments of support for the Ayatollahs and their terrorist ideas.it makes sense because the Progressive have their own terrorists here in the United States.

Russian invasion had an impact on domestic prices but so did Biden-Harris policies as they signed executive orders on Day 1 unnecessarily restricting and limiting domestic energy companies. If the US domestic energy companies are producing gasoline prices at record levels and prices are relatively high, then demand is not being met. Capacity is maxed. No infrastructure to support growth.

Does the military operation in the Iran impact gas prices? Absolutely. The difference is that is a short term cost towards a long term goal of mitigating instability and threats from the Iran regime that have been in place for 47 years.
The EO's Biden signed has zero effect on US oil Production levels or World Oil Production levels. Production cuts came in 2020. By the time Biden won, prices and demand were already increasing. So was US Oil Production. World production however lagged, and that is was drove oil/gas prices higher. Not the pause on the federal leasing program.

Covid was responsible for the crash and rise of gas prices that started in 2020. They only rose again in 2022 because of the Russian invasion. Also, the price of gas was only above 4 dollars for about 6 months in reaction to Russia's invasion. US Oil production has not slumped in response the Putin's war of aggression, it has increased. Not that the increase is tied to the war in Ukraine. The US Oil Patch just keeps climbing the mountain.

Gas prices didn’t rise in 2020. In fact they remained normal…until Joey Xiden took office and he and the Dems put into place their policies to kill the fossil fuel industry and make Americans worse off

In fact the full impact wasn’t felt until 2022 after Covid

So your Covid defense makes no sense

Why can’t you all just embrace what you voted for?

I'm pretty sure it was Benedict Donald who caused the higher prices when he assassinated the Iranian leaders in an illegal surprise attack while we were in the middle of negotiations. At a point in those negotiations when the Iranian were willing to give up their stock pile of 60% enriched Uranium.

Good news. High gas prices aren’t because of Trump, but because of those greedy corporations!

Sure. The New Republicans are lying again. They have to. Scalise said gas prices were over 6 dollars just two years ago. The highest average price rose above 5 dollar for about 1 month in the summer of 2022. Which was the Covid Bubble combined with Russia's attempted conquest of Ukraine. The oil market had stabilized after OPEC+ increased production. It's been down hill since then, until Benedict Donald started his war against Iran.

Under Biden the price of gas was higher for only three months (May June and July) than it is today.

I am glad you point out the volatility with the oil market. This isn’t new. We know that any global disruption or crisis in the Middle East will certainly drive prices up. Knowing that and you are still buying or driving a gas guzzler, that’s on you.

He’s wrong and if you believe him, you’re also wrong. Greedy corporations? Gee, when was the last time leftist take their war against pharmaceutical, insurance, and healthcare industries reaping in billions of dollars of profits annually.

You do know the complex process involved from getting that black gooey stuff from underground or under the sea floor before it goes in the car I hope.

Gas Price dropped to below 2 dollar during the start of the pandemic and started rising by June of 2020. They made it back to pre pandemic levels by April 2021 and continued to rise because world oil production not rebounding and demand was rebounding in a big way. We were still down about 1 mbd, but the rig count was increasing and so was production. By the time Russia invaded we were almost back to 12 mbd.

Biden advocated for a smooth and gradual transition to renewables and away from fossil fuel.

Don't get me wrong l love ICE's and Gasoline. Nothing like dialing on that throttle, accelerating and having your front wheel lift off the road a bit.

He’s not totally wrong. Oil producers are going to be making a shit ton of money because of this little adventure.

Calling it price gouging is more about morality and less about facts.

Nothing like that stock 69 Charger RT with the 440 Magnum my friends dad found for him in 76 Burning that 50 cent gas we had back in the mid 70s. When lead filled the air. Myself? I got to drive a three time handed down 59 VW bug, with no gas gage, just a little switch on the floor for the reserve gallon...

Was $3.97 here yesterday but whatever. That industry doesn't need much of a reason to gouge consumers. Any old excuse will do. "Oh no the supermoon will disrupt shipments--add $20 cents to prices, pronto!!!" It is the problem of allowing US oil to be sold on the international markets instead of requiring it be used domestically first.

Gas prices remained consistent during the pandemic, under Trump's leadership.

They didn't spike until well into 2022 after the pandemic and when Xiden and Dem congress policies were in full effect

Gas prices drop by nearly a dollar by the summer of 2020 because of the pandemic/economy.

By 2022 they were about a little over $3.30 before the Russian invasion. Then they spike for a month at over $5.00 but by the end of 2022 there were back down to where the year started. Bidens EO's had nothing to do with US Oil Production or the price of gasoline.

15th post
Its now 4:42, once it exceeds 5.01 then it's gone above the dreaded "Biden" level that all the magats here keep telling us about.

$2.23 in March of 2020, to $2.18 in August isn't "nearly a dollar" not even close.

Yes, gas spiked in 2022 when Biden and the Congressional Dems policies were in full force. No doubt their failed foreign policy had something to do with that as well. They dropped a little by the end of 2022, but climbed right back up in 2023....toping off at 3.83 by the fall.

Why do you care?
You don't live here.
What are "petrol" prices like in your failing country?
Gas prices are up all around the world due to Trump's war with Iran. Prices are actually slightly lower in the US because we are a net exporter.
