Whatever his intentions are, he is doing it in an autocratic way and the bottom line is that he is doing it to get into power and stay there. In the future, no one's vote is going to count. Autocracy or Democracy are the choices here. There is NO OTHER choice, no matter how you want to see it.

During periods of crisis, it is common for government power to grow, such as during say, The Civil War, or the Great Depression.

After the crisis passes, if those changes are judged as overreaches, they can be reversed.

Your fear mongering is not serious. It is just you trying to defend the abuse of power of the Left, which you support.

If you cared at all about democracy or human rights, you would have been terrified by the Biden Administration use of lawfare, both against MAGA in general, and against Trump more specifically.

You are simply a piece of shit critic that only wants to debase and blame others and have no desire to seek the truth. You are not worth spending any further time with.

I am an independent and middle of the road person and I criticize and also laud both parties when they do something wrong or do something right. There is no such thing as perfection but there are extremes to everything, and the reality is that there is more extremes (things to criticize) among the Republicans than the Democrats. That is not to say that bad and good things can't be found on both side, but the really bad ones are on the right.

The past 50-year history has shown repeatedly that under a Democrat government, the economy and things in general are better than under the Republicans. Biden definitely made some costly mistakes but then again, the economy grew, the market rose and other than from the pandemic, there were no negatives of consequence other than the immigration problem. For the past 90 days and under Trump, he has done more damage than any other president for the past 100 years. You are totally ignoring that.
