On top of the political bullshit (which for some reason seems to supercede everything else), there's the idea that people like Fauci simply don't know. They're ignorant. And they use the political stage to hide their ignorance.

Look up and down every executive agency, every one of them is filled with abject stupidity. Of the kind where politics overtakes science.

I mean, they might as well try to legislate the value of Pi (again), that's how stupid this is getting.

And then to make matters worse, the idiotic power hungry government not only tries to forbid useful medicine, they try to force people to take the experimental stuff that doesn't work

Ivermectin is an excellent case in point. It's one of the few things that actually does work. It's a protease inhibitor, it's not a cute but it helps, and it also allows the natural immunity to keep functioning normally.
