Modern “immigrants” are a drain on society, they’re destructive to society…Do you speak of pre welfare white and Asian immigrants…the last immigrants who improved and enhanced America? Or are you referring to a micro percentage that no one should take the time to pay attention to?

My point is distinguishing between pride and gratefulness. Pride is something I take out of accomplishment. Gratefulness is something I take pleasure in that encompasses situations not of my doing.

If somebody works to be an American and passes a citizenship test that is something I can understand their taking pride in. I on the other hand am American by birthright citizenship, thus the feeling I have is being grateful.
