Are you proud to be an American?

[Concerned American]

The U.S. is and has been a great nation. My contribution to that has been, to say the very most, very modest. Pride, in general, is something I hold very low in esteem as an emotion. I am aware of the defects of my country, but respect it. Personal "pride" is not involved.

Humans are not perfect and never will be. Neither is this country. But as the video clearly illustrated, there isn't another country that I'd rather live in.
