The regions that probably will become separate nations first are Hawaii, Alaska, and the west coast, but those splits could be decades ahead. Alaska might merge with some western Canadian provinces. The only Alaskan politician I know is Sarah Palin.

If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, you might become a president. It's never too early to start campaigning.
