YES! Environmental and genetic forcing caused all these new breed of dogs over thousands of years and it is a very solid sign of evolution. It isn't to say that a creator couldn't have made the system in which causes such processes to take place but one thing is for certain...Stone age religion is way too simple to explain it and science which is a tool of knowledge to understand our world and universe.

Even ancient India had some brilliant mathematicians. The Indians came up with the series expansions of Pi a hundred years before we did. Check Madhava of Sangramagama.

I can't speak for today's India ... but in the old Soviet Union, chess playing was a National Pastime ... skill at the game was a ticket into the Communist Party and all the benefits that go along with being a Party Member ... just about everybody played regularly ...

Hells bells ... the Moscow City Chess Club sported more members than the entire United States Chess Federation ...

Meh... not an expert on canines. "Probably", but I can't say for sure. Not sure how you'd measure doggie IQ in the first place.

Numerous dog breeds aren't "proof of evolution".

They ARE evolution.

Cumulative, slight changes leading to differences in the genome and in gene expression.

Take one of those breeds and isolate it for 10 million years. You will get something that qualifies as a new species.

Dogs representing certain traits were bred for certain purposes. Hunting dogs , herding dogs , guard dogs , etc. Each requires different " smarts " , difficult to gauge intelligence in people let alone animals.
