Are College Students Really This Dumb?

You said I didn't work for the post office.

Are you going to apologize about that?

Man up, admit you were not just wrong, but you openly spread that lie.

Now man up.
no i am not going to apologize...you could have just answered my question in the beginning and just told me i work out of wherever you worked out of... instead you had to play your stupid game...and i wasnt wrong, you call yourself postman....that is commonly what a letter carrier is called not a clerk....and we dont use the royal mail with a crown on our logo....so maybe i am right...

I gave you the IP address of where i'm at, and you could have looked that up from any ACE computer to verify. And secure because that information is only on a USPS DNS.

its about has hilarious when you told me you worked for the PO...remember that bobo?.....you sure looked pretty stupid then.......
I did! OMG, I forgot about that. So he's not the first person you accused of lying about working at the post office. That's hilarious. As if that's something someone would brag about.

I told you before I lost my job in college and I needed a job. A fellow student told me that the post office paid $5 hr to college students who would come in and sort the mail. The mail was stacked up all the way to the ceiling. We would just one letter at a time sort them by zip code.

I couldn't do it. It was mind numbing. Even though you could work when you wanted, for however long you wanted, and it was $1.50 more than minimum wage, I never went back. Only went once.

Sorry if you don't believe it. You are a jackass.

Nope. It was the one on Stadium. And if anything I was a temp or part time employee. I've explained this all to you before Cliff Claven.

I tried calling but of course, they are a bit understaffed.

Then I was a temp. THEY allowed us college students to do this job. Sorry don't know what to tell you. Maybe things weren't so strict back in the 1990's. But I was out of a job, a guy told me about this job. You would think I would have went back but I hated it. It was $1.50 more than what everyone else was paying.

Some college kid told me about it.

A. I could get on the bus in Ypsilanti and take it to the PO. But that's probably a big reason I didn't go back. To walk to the bus stop, all the stops, probably took an hour each way. Yuck. And it was mind numbing just sorting sorting sorting. Never ending. But I only went one day I'm sure you get used to it after a while.

B. I remember he took me in the facility. We went in and no one was around. Finally the supervisor appeared and he interviewed me for a few minutes. Maybe I filled out an application but I don't remember. But it was easy peasy. I probably started that day. Right then and there.

You act like there is top secret official shit I could sell to the Chinese in the PO. LOL. Dude, it's not that special. You were not that special. Is that what they told you to make you feel better about the job?

Royal Mail? I NEVER said that. You may have said that.

I took NO exam you idiot. I was a college kid. They hired college kids. One college kid told me about it, brought me in, maybe I filled out some paperwork and showed my id. But then that was it dude. I went right to work.

And never went back. You'd have to be a moron to work for the PO. Vets who can't find real jobs is who works there. Grunts.

Types of exams

Virtual Entry Assessment (VEA)

Most entry-level Postal Service jobs require you to pass the Virtual Entry Assessment (VEA). These exams include:

  • VIRTUAL ENTRY ASSESSMENT – MC (474) for Mail Carrier jobs
  • VIRTUAL ENTRY ASSESSMENT – MH (475) for Mail Handler jobs
  • VIRTUAL ENTRY ASSESSMENT – MP (476) for Mail Processing jobs
  • VIRTUAL ENTRY ASSESSMENT – CS (477) for Customer Service Clerk jobs

You are such a nerd

Yes, the United States Postal Service (USPS) employs college students, though generally not through a dedicated "student worker" program for mail sorting like they did in the past. Instead, students are hired into regular part-time, temporary, or seasonal roles, such as Mail Handler Assistants (MHA) or Postal Service Employees (PSE), which involve sorting, lifting, and loading mail.
Maybe you never worked for the PO?
  • PSE Mail Processing Clerk: These roles focus on using automated equipment or manual methods to sort and distribute mail.
USPS actively hires for seasonal positions, especially during the peak holiday season, which can fit around academic schedules.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old (or 16 with a high school diploma), pass a background check, and pass a drug screening.

I never had to take a drug test.

Nope. It was a quick interview, then I got to sorting. Maybe I had to fill out an application I don't remember.
