Yale-Educated Lupita Nyong’o Admits She Never Heard of ‘The Odyssey’ Before Helen of Troy Casting

Greek language and culture did not come from Judah. It pre-existed them.
The Philistines with their superior iron and crafts were Greek colonists (the Peleset).
The Minoans were trading with the Jews. That's at least 1000 years before the Greek city state period. The city of Jericho is still considered the oldest city in the world, Byblos, which gave us our alphabet was founded 4000 years after Jericho.

Gobeklitepe in Turkey may be older than Jericho, but the evidence is out still.

Regardless of that, the Jewish faith is one of the two oldest religions on Earth.

The ancient Greeks translated the Bible, which means it pre existed them.

Jews practically invented writing historical narrative history and literature. Job is a novel in itself, and 1st Samuel and Kings are excellent writing. And there are the Psalms, from about 1500 B.C. to around 500 B.C.

I did, when I ignored your "joke" and answered your question, that I actually had myself.

But you came back with your condescending prick routine, which you do all too often.
I am a "prick" only to those people who get bent out of shape when they were the ones who fucked up! How much time do we need to waste on your butthurt? Put some lotion on it and grow up child!

True, but the Epic of Gilgamesh predates even those.

Yes, but the quality is very low in comparison, and on closer examination there is little influence on Jewish writings at the time, same with the Egyptian writings. Jewish writers weren't copying anything, as some like to claim. Just reading them pretty much kills the latter claims.

That's true, the Jews were writing first and foremost a history of their people, plus a book of hygiene to keep them from catching diseases that were common at the time. The Epic of Gilgamesh is a poem about one man's adventures. Two entirely different subjects.

Ancient Greece did not translate "the Bible". The first books of the Torah were not translated until after the Ancient Greeks in the 3rd century BC.
Ummmm, yeah...that's what I said. Try and keep up.
