LANSING, MI - State Republican lawmakers and activists have fought since late April to end Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s emergency powers, and on Monday, the Michigan Supreme Court dealt a final blow to her COVID-19 executive orders.
The Michigan Supreme Court ruled Oct. 12 that Whitmer’s emergency powers must be stripped effective immediately. The court also decided that Michigan governors do not have the authority to issue executive orders for as long as necessary, as outlined in the 1945 Emergency Powers of Governor Act, calling that law unconstitutional.

now we can really add up the covid cases and deaths.
There is a double standard for Rep. Gov and Dem Gov
We need to get rid of the rep maj in the Senate since 1984.
