Ontario closed the last of their coal fired plants and went entirely to green energy in the early 1990's. We've had green energy every since, and the first noteable result was a massive improvement in the air quality, and in asthma and emergency visits on account of breathing problems.

As for not providing enough power, we have enough electricity to supply the largest provincial population in Canada, and we sell our excess power to 22 American states.

Manufacturing is leaving Europe to come to America because renewable energy costs too much and cant meet demand. Thats because America is building LNG coal and nuclear power which is low cost and reliable. Renewable energy cant supply data centers which is the future of an economy.

Wind turbines put carbon fibers in the air you just replaced on kind of pollution fir another. Reality will force you to stop building green energy. The American states that need excess power have too much green energy. Thats the point.

China has been known to grow its coal power and renewables capacities in tandem for some years now. While the expectation for most observers was likely that green energy would eventually gain the upper hand after a transitional time period, 2025 figures released by the Global Coal Plant Tracker paint a different picture about the direction China’s electricity mix might be taking.
