WW1 happened because the Emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire decided that Serbia needed to be punished for Arch Duck Ferdinand being assassinated on a bridge in Sarajevo. The Jews didn't do anything. Gavrilo Princip who carried out the assassination, was not a Jew. The Emperor of Austria wasn't a Jew.

Austria knew that if they attacked Serbia, that Russia would come to their aid. They knew that if Russia mobilized that Germany would mobilize. They knew if Germany mobilized that France would too.
