AOC has a message for the GOP: America wants an affirmative message, not fear porn

There is no benefit in fearing the GOP. You have to understand their tactic and address it by shining a light on truth. People are generally dumb but they learn by experience. People are learning Trump is full of shit and it isn’t the poor people and immigrants fleecing this nation. It’s Trump and his cronies. People will wake up.. I hope.
All you post is rage bait, but I'm on to you.

As time goes by it become more and more obvious that New York City is on a figurative different planet from the rest of the U.S., politically speaking. Exhibits A and B are, of course Jeffries and Schumer, but AOC is a strong third. There is no other place where this self-aggrandizing blowhard would have won a seat, let alone become the "face of the Party."

We Republicans cheer her every statement, as ridiculous as they are, and hope that she or someone like her will carry the banner for the Democrat party in the 2028 Presidential election.

As for the substance here, FEAR? What about hate of the President as a main theme for a party? How's that working out?

Triggered responses attacking the messenger but unable to dispute the message. That is step one of this ass kicking thread.
She has no message. She never has one. She says a lot of words, like Hillary, which are nothing more than a collection of idealistic thoughts. I'd say Republicans have reason to fear Democrat positions like law enforcement anarchy, sanctuary cities, socialism-communism, rigged elections, unlimited government assistance and open borders to name a few. And really, how the hell are you supposed to believe people who think the answer to all our problems is to charge billionaires more taxes? AOC talks like a child.

Commies like POSITIVITY and not FEAR!

The always eloquent AOC is spot on and knows the enemy.
The biggest moron in the democratic party speaks and you kiss her backside.
Republicans discovered years ago that their only motivating message they have is fear porn.
You mean like "democracy is under assault"....oh, wait.......
immigrant demonization,
following the rule of law. There is a reason latino's are jumping ship
or branding every policy that doesn’t put more money in the hands of the wealthy
Hmmmm......no we don't do fear porn.....:auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg::auiqs.jpg:

The always eloquent AOC is spot on and knows the enemy. Republicans discovered years ago that their only motivating message they have is fear porn. Whether it was fake Weapons Of Mass Destruction, or attacking all the wrong counties for 9/11, or immigrant demonization, or claiming the gays are coming for your childred, or branding every policy that doesn’t put more money in the hands of the wealthy as a slide to socialism, the GOP lives breathes and procreates fear. Nothing else.

“The Republican Party’s brand is fear. And they have to constantly churn out what they want people to be afraid of—to be afraid of socialists, to be afraid of immigrants, to be afraid of women. They constantly want Americans in fear of somebody because, if you are not afraid of someone who is your neighbor, you’re going to realize who’s actually pickpocketing you.

And that is the large corporations that are engaged in profiteering and jacking up your prices for no good reason. It’s going to be this administration that is engaged in record levels of swindling, theft, tariffs, and attacks on your housing.

And so this is kind of their new thing of the day. But I think that people are feared out. I think everyone’s nerves are shot from constantly being taught and told what country, person, or community to be afraid of. And they just want a solution. They want their groceries to be more affordable. They want to figure out how we’re going to get health care. They want our housing to get under control.

And I think that we’re ready for an affirmative vision, and we’re ready for an affirmative agenda.”

I plan to vote dem.

AI...an accelerationist is a proponent of "accelerationism," a political and social theory that argues the systemic collapse of modern society, capitalism, and technological progress is inevitable. Instead of resisting this change, accelerationists believe we should actively speed up these processes to either radically transform the system or break through to a new societal paradigm.

Because it is an umbrella term, the ideology varies drastically depending on the political leaning:

Left-Wing Accelerationism: Proponents believe that capitalism and rapid technological development should be aggressively expanded so they reach a critical "breaking point." The goal is to rapidly push past capitalism toward a post-scarcity, post-work society, often embracing automation and the digitalization of economics.

Right-Wing Accelerationism: Associated with figures like philosopher Nick Land and the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit (CCRU), this branch advocates for deregulated, hyper-capitalism and technological advancement without interference. They believe the system should be unleashed to its absolute limits, unbothered by social or human consequences.

Far-Right/Extremist Accelerationism: A highly violent, nihilistic interpretation prominent in white supremacist and neo-Nazi circles. Adherents believe modern democratic society is irreparably broken. Rather than waiting for systemic collapse, they advocate for acts of mass violence, terrorism, and sabotage to spark societal chaos and race wars

And . . . AOC is the candidate that will unite the country against the Trumpers, AKA the majority of voters?

At least you named someone I'll give you that. None of your sister Dems have been willing to defend a candidate.

You have to understand their tactic and address it by shining a light on truth.
But what if the Right has created a construct in which there is no absolute truth? What if their truth is a fabrication? Woven out of half truths, outright lies, and disingenuous narratives. What if the obvious failure of this regime on virtually every front is seen by The Following as a crowning success?

And I think that we’re ready for an affirmative vision, and we’re ready for an affirmative agenda.”
With the wins in New York state this past week, you are going to get a real affirmative agenda......

What a joke.

Were you drunk when you posted this?

What kind of powerful spell are you under to think the majority of voters support trump as his approval rating threatens to sink below 30%?
