I think Russia will win in the end, but at the cost of them being an ex-super power. No one will want to deal with them for a very long time, their military will be horribly maimed, and all credibility will go down the tubes. The world will be against them and will no longer fear them.

In my opinion, the Russian army will have learned valuable lessons about waging war on the modern battlefield, and will adjust their military doctrine and equipment to reflect this new reality.
While the U.S. has only been fighting lightly armed insurgent farmers for the last couple of decades. Thus the US military is way behind the curve when it comes to engaging in battle against a modern army.
