We've made advances in medicine. They don't give you a stick to bite down on any more. They will just knock you out, and wake you when it's over.
They might jist use a local.

Thanks I thought it was a saw or something, the more I know...Well, you arent going to feel the saw because you will be under for it. Im assuming they wont be using a saw anyway. My guess is they use a scalpel to remove the bone by cutting away the ligaments at the knuckle, then sew a flap of skin over it.
I don't really care either way. They might jist use a local.
Congrats. Don't sweat the toes. My plan is to linger. Maybe that's part of his plan for you. Good luck to ya!I have been around, I tried to go to heaven last February, but god had other plans for me
Does it hurt? I am going to have to get a few toes cut off due to frost bite last winter.
And I want to know how long does the pain last?
On a side note, most of the pain from surgeries is caused by swelling, but you arent going to have that issue because the toes wont be there to swell.Does it hurt? I am going to have to get a few toes cut off due to frost bite last winter.

Sorry to hear about that. Sounds tough. As a kid, I once got my thang caught in my zipper, but I don't think that is the same thing.

Ok I will do, I am supposed to see the surgeon this Wednesday, and like I said I want the surgery to happen around Christmas so I can healCould you let is know what happens? I am curious about how they will do it. Thanks.
how do you get a clitoris stuck in a zipper??
They dont fall off, they start to die which can cause gangrene and infection, which will kill you, so they chop them off before it gets to that point. Your issue is very similar to diabetics and their toes.I went to the hyberbaric (spl?) Chamber for like 6 weeks every other day to save my feet it worked out real well, but I am a smoker at 57 the docs say I have poor circulation, and about a month or so ago they said they could see bone in my toes so it has to come off or could get worse. I just don't want to give up a good job just because I can't walk for now,
Does toes really just fall off? Like I heard with diabetes?
No kidding, but I just got a great job, paying me 35 bucks an hour, no on call just 40 hours a week, I want to schedule the surgery on December 24th I just was wondering how long it would take me to walk, it's not my big toes, the second ones on both feet and the third one on my right foot
Thats fast not like waiting around for some strange person to do it for youMy brother cut off part of his finger on a table saw. When his crew asks what time they are going to knock off, he holds up 4 fingers to indicate 3:30
Yeah that's what the nurses and doctors told me specifically, I have to keep my wounds clean otherwise I could lose an entire foot or worseThey dont fall off, they start to die which can cause gangrene and infection, which will kill you, so they chop them off before it gets to that point. Your issue is very similar actually.
You don't know me, I will try to do it my wayThe better news is that it isn't the big toes. But sorry to hear about your travails.
I doubt they will schedule elective surgery on Christmas Eve.
Yep, and if you are wondering about the pain, he said there was some.Thats fast not like waiting around for some strange person to do it for you
I don't mind if I do it myself, like I said but when I volunteer to let someone else do it , it's a different situation.Yep, and if you are wondering about the pain, he said there was some.
