I'm seeing more and more charging stations around the country and just like handicap spaces they are right up front near the door or entrance of an establishment.

In protest of the insanity I'm adding a fake "receptacle" to my Kia Soul that will accept the charging cord but not a charge. If someone complains I can just unplug and drive away while I chuckle.

Maybe the idea will catch on!

That's right, so basically I'm going to disrespect property owner's wishes and do whatever the fuck I want.

Thats just the same as people who illegally use Handicapped plates or plaquards to park in handicapped spaces and theres nothing wrong with them!!!! If THEY can do it and not be carted off to prison for impersonating a handicapped person and illegal use of handicapped facilities, then YOU can certainly have a fake charger on your car and park in a charging space!!

Here in Texas though, I noticed that charging stations that are being installed are WAY out there, away from the front of the building. And only ONE or TWO charging stations are being installed.
And in most places around where I live, the charging stations aren't even really noticable, so I'm sure that EV psychos don't even see them there.


I won't have an EV until they can charge in less than 5 minutes............like me filling up my tank with gas takes less than 5 minutes.
