That's just the pretext, to sell Americans on yet another regime change operation, which is really about installing an Empire-friendly puppet and taking control of their resources. I hope that doesn't happen but it looks like it's going in that direction.

As for Venezuela, it's not OUR job to choose leaders for other nations or determine THEIR political system, any more than it's the job of foreigners to pick our leaders here in the US. And those wretched conditions is why mostly poor law abiding men with families to feed, down on their luck, can be coerced by the drug runner captains to make a few hour trip with him for $500 plus bucks and be home with their families that evening...many do it only once and their set with feeding the family for a while....the man power on the boats are usually not the so called Narco terrorist....the Captain and first and second mate usually are...
