Anyone else experiencing electrical brownouts or blackouts yet?

We've had a few minor blips so far tonight. Internet's running a little slow too.

Not so far any problems with electric. I have no water sue to main break or something have not gotten clear answer why or when will be back yet. Wish this crap had happened after the 3rd of Jan then it would not have effected me I would be in the keys.

southern VT , it's all Green Mountain power, owned by Hyrdo Quebec , who are building the 'northern pass' down to us, while our Nuke (Yankee) is being decommissioned soon

add to that, we've REF (rural electrification program) vintage infrastructure that falls over anytime the weather farts here

Don't knock it. Being on the national grid is no better, or worse....

Maine finally caved and went on the national grid, giving our excess to other states, raising prices for us, cuz everyone else is using our electricity so the demand is greater, causing electric prices to rise, not fall, imo.I

Maine does lead the entire nation in renewable energy.... 80% of our electric, comes from renewables....about 50% of what we produce, goes to other new England states.

Our infrastructure is still crapola in my region and we lose power in nearly every storm, but are paying more.... Ok, done bitchng!

We finally got the generator going, got some space heaters on now.... It was 45 inside the house before the heaters, has gotten to 55, so far!
