I'll say this for Massie. He has outspent Gallrein by a wide margin, and he has given this relatively obscure district outsized importance. Put it on the map so so speak. Will all that lead to a good result for him, i.e. winning the primary and drawing an opponent that he can beat.

Not much data yet, with only 3.7% of expected votes.

Outspent is an understatement, the question is, who has deemed this election so important to them to give Massie so much money to win on? What will Massie be obligated to do in return for putting him in office?

Good points.

Whoever is bankrolling him ain't doin' it out the goodness of his heart, that's for sure.

Looks like Strange is locking up the Dem nomination. Anyone know who she is? That name sounds very familiar.

Well, someone is bankrolling Massie to the tune of the most money ever spent on such an election I hear.
  1. If Massie is so damn good to merit such magnanimous support, then you'd think Trump would want him.
  2. And if Massie is half as bad as Trump makes out, then why is his election worth so much to someone?

What the actual phuk are you dudes blabbering about?

In Massie’s corner, independent political groups spent more than $10.1 million supporting him — but super PACs poured more than $16.4 million into ousting the incumbent.

Better question is who owns Gallrein?...It's certainly not Kentuckians throwing $16 MM on a political rookie.
