That is what the autopen is supposed to be for. That and an 'emergency' signature if a piece of legislation or other essential document needs immediate signature when the President is away from the White House. The latter is always documented and confirmed as the order of the President though. I'm reasonably certain that President Trump has not needed to use that in any situation yet though.
