But here's the problem with it. When used in the past, it has been used in the context of White Europeans hating on Jews (who were also white), not actual divisions based on bad anthropology (like the "Semites" were descended from Shem, while African people - Hemitic - were descended from Ham)

The problem is that we've changed the definition of "Semitic" from meaning Middle Easter People under old "Scientific Racism" standards to "Just the Jews".

Now, to be fair, words change their definition all the time. For instance, the word "Gay" used to mean Promiscious, then Happy, then Homosexual, and for a while it was used to describe something that was dull. (Because the word "Lame" developed negative connotations towards the disabled, I guess.

But the use of the word "Anti-Semite" is meant to imply a RACIAL component, which just isn't there. Zionism is white people oppressing people of color.
