Ever since the Islamic massacre of innocent Jews on 10/7, and committed on the most joyous holiday of the Jewish calendar, antisemites have taken to demonizing Israel - and the Jews who support it. In this article by Victor Davis Hansen, the following reasons are discussed:

1. DEI proponents “established” that there are groups with supposedly legitimate grievances for whom all sorts of exceptions are made because, well….they're oppressed. That has empowered them to voice all sorts of heinous, racist opinions, as they know their “oppressed status” gives them leniency, and people are afraid to criticize the protected binary.

2. Demographics. Muslims are overtaking Jews in population, due not only to immigration but their much higher birthrate. As it now stands, some areas are majority Muslim, and the antipathy to Jews Is palatable. Muslim are now serving on the local boards of leftist areas, and of course are making inroads into mayoral and Congressional spots - and bringing their Israel-hate along with them.

3. Money. Rich Arab countries have bought their way into American universities with billions of dollars - and the leftist schools already predisposed to siding with Muslims over Jews are bought and paid for. The anti-Israel indoctrination starts with freshmen orientation with “anti-Israel” booklets and lapses over into overt antisemitism with “No Jew zones’ and bullying and assaults of Jewish students.

Defending oneself is Haram, of course...
Only if it’s the Jews doing it. Golda Meir once said (paraphrasing): “the world likes us when we are to be pitied, and hate us when we fight back.”

What’s behind the demonization of Israel?

An Evil group of Jewish Satanists ?
Believers in a Fake God with an unbelievable view of their own self importance?
Lovers of Genocide and Infanticide as a means to further the Dagan Plan ?
Failure to be honest and admit that many , if not most , of the top Nazis were themselves Jews ?

All very puzzling to an English mother and housewife whose own mother ( German by birth) played a very small part in helping German Jews escape into England during WW2.

Um, Israel is being condemned because their response to 10/7 was to engage in wholesale slaughter in Gaza, killing 75,000 people at least, and rendering hundreds of thousands homeless. I don't know why you keep leaving that part out.

And how is that any different than Jews influencing our politics through groups like AIPAC, spending money to keep Congress tame?

I live in a district where AIPAC spent a crapload of money propping up a person we voted out of office a decade ago because she was kind of useless.

AIPAC-associated groups have spent over 100 million on political races.

What’s behind the demonization of Israel?

The actions of Israel
Take any government in the world, or for that matter, take any human being in the world and put them under a microscope and then start ripping them to shreds for all the "bad" things they have done in life, and then combine that with things that are either made up about them by people who hate them or are things that are simply misconstrued. You can destroy anyone or any government doing this, while ignoring pretty much all others.

This is what is being done to the Zionist government. Proof of this is that the UN has filed more resolutions against Israel over the years than all the other nations of the world combined. Just think about this for a few minutes and let it sink in. In fact, I remember one of the resolutions against Israel was for building walls, of all things, to help protect their people. Meanwhile, in the Sudan Christians were being rounded up and slaughtered by the tens of thousands, yet the UN only seemed to be interested in writing resolutions against Israel? Really?

And anyone with half a brain can see that the Zionist state is nowhere as evil as say North Korea or Iran, yet they are the only country compared to as Nazis in Legacy media and the UN.

I just don't buy it.

In addition to all this, you also need to factor in the history of antisemitism over the ages. Many discount, for example, the numbers of Jews killed during the Holocaust. Well fine, for the sake of argument, let's say not as many were killed during the Holocaust. The trouble is, most have no idea what the Jewish people endured before the Holocaust, which was centuries upon centuries of oppression in Europe. In fact, all the things done to the Jews in Nazi Germany had been done to the Jews in countries all throughout Europe, whether it be forcing them to dress in special garb so they could be spotted easily, or all put in Ghettos to live, or rounded up and cast out of entire countries, a hand for us times in a hand full of countries, or simply rounded up and murdered in mass after a program. You might even say that the persecution in Europe was so bad that the Holocaust was simply a natural climax to it all, before they finally found a home in Israel.

What the hell? Why the hate? And to divorce yourself of this horrible past and pretend that it simply vanished from the earth and plays no part of the Israeli hate is simply insane.

The U.N. is so bad that a dozen of their employees actively participated in the 10/7 massacre - slicing off baby heads and setting toddlers in fire.

The no Jews zones do not exist after a court order. In Texas Palestinian groups have been removed from campus.

It still makes my head hurt why the DNC in Congress could not find it within themselves to condemn 10/7 as they targeted women and children. They could have easily condemned the act, and then gone back to hating the Zionist government, but no. They refused to condemn their slaughter, a slaughter which was the largest recorded genocide of Jews since the Holocaust. That sends a powerful message.

I never though I would see the day in the US, for example, where college kids gathered round singing "Gas the Jews" as universities around the country did nothing.

In fact, I've seen the video a thousand times over, and still can't wrap my mind around it.

Opposing the actions of Israel has nothing to do with hating Jews.

After 9-11 terrorist attacks we rightfully went after global terrorist groups and killed or captured their leaders. But we went beyond that in blaming all Muslims and invading Afghanistan and Iraq…..that was overkill

After the Oct 7 attacks, Israel rightfully retaliated against terrorist groups. But they turned it into a vendetta against all Palestinians and levelled Gaza killing innocent civilians in the process. ……that was overkill

Who gave the stand down order on the 7th of October?

Maybe you will one day wake up. That govt is fucked up. They funded their own enemies for crying out loud!
They killed their own people who escaped capticity in gaza and they were ven waving white flags FFS.
How many times has this govt had to apologize for "accidently" destroying a school, shooting doctors etc?
The only good thing I have seen from that govt the last 5 years was when they were destroying gaza, they let people know to get out of the way.

For the sake of argument, let's say that the conspiracy is a valid one, that the Israeli government told the IDF to stand down. What would happen if the IDF was not there? What would happen to the 7 million Jews in Israel if the IDF was not there to protect them?

The answer is, the same damned thing, which would be the largest Holocaust of Jews in world history.

Did Israel let it happen? The same question is asked if FDR let Pearl Harbor happen. Either way, you have an enemy out there that wants to destroy you. Perhaps they did let it happen in order to gather public support to fight them, I don't know.

And this is not a statement in support of either if they actually happened.

Just trying to get people to use their brain for a change.

Where was the IDF then that allowed such a large breach of a security zone?

Only if it’s the Jews doing it. Golda Meir once said (paraphrasing): “the world likes us when we are to be pitied, and hate us when we fight back.”

By fighting back, you mean finding someone you can bully.

I often compare Israel to an abused child who has gotten big enough to beat up on someone else. No one feels bad for your bad childhood when we find a bunch of dead hookers buried in your crawlspace.
