Joe Kent has been defeated in Washington's Third Congressional District. This is the seat currently held by Jaime Herrera-Beutler, who Kent primaried this year, because she didn't support Trump. Instead of focusing on issues that mattered, Kent was out pushing extremist positions. As a result, the Republicans have lost this seat in a Republican friendly district.

Kent, 42, won former Trump’s endorsement early in the primary cycle and has embraced the former president’s lies about the 2020 election and downplayed the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

Kent repeatedly called those arrested for the Jan. 6 attack “political prisoners” and said he wanted to investigate the FBI, searching for evidence the agency secretly instigated the attack.

He ran on a pro-Trump “America First” agenda, vowing to seek immediate impeachment of Biden, opposing U.S. miltary aid to Ukraine, and calling for a near total shutdown on immigration.

You must be real giddy with all that high fuel and food prices and really high diseased illegal border crossings that will continue to drive up prices. I mean you really have to be retarded to want the Marxist/Demoncraps to win.

Check the rules by state. In some places they can't count ballots until the polls are closed.
And worse, they can't count mail in ballots ahead of election day...and then to make matters even worse, the walk in ballots take priority over the mail in ballots after the polls close.

I highly doubt there were that many people who voted for a democrat because Trump supported or endorsed the Repub person. If they did then they were voting based on negative emotions rather than a clear-minded analysis of the issues we face. People should be voting with the heads, not their heart and had enough people done so we would not be having a democrat majority in the Senate or the House.

Some voted for a democrat based on abortion, which Trump has nothing to do with. Some voted for a democrat cuz that's what they always do, even though about 2/3rds of the country say the country is on the wrong track. I know that some of the GOP candidates were poor choices, but the democrats had some poor choice candidates too and they won with them more than the repubs did. These are people that want to end the filibuster and pack the Supreme Court so they can have their way with any and every issue. How any sane and intelligent person can support that is foolish IMHO.

Since the Democrat was the incumbent, how was it a GOP-friendly district?

It's obviously not a GOP-friendly district. The GOP has flipped far more seats than Brandon's party in what you might call snowflake-friendly districts.

BTW, you may want to work on class. " Dumb ass" is not a particularly witty or terribly sophisticated way of insulting people.

I accept your concession. Have a nice day
