Zone1 Another question to ponder part 2

What problem did killing your children solve?

You don't know? ... that's because you've never read that in the Bible ... because the Bible explains in very clear and concise terms why ...

Don't you explain to your own children why you make the rules that you do? ... you should ... someday they'll be adults and will have to be making these choices themselves ... pooping on the family hearth, what would you do while being lost 40 years in the desert? ...

There are 3 possibilities.
One believes
One does not believe
One isnt sure
All are OK

I assumed that but your are correct
And that’s actually a key difference between Christianity and Judaism: the former focuses on what you believe, and the latter focuses on how you act. Faith v Law.

If there is no original sin there is no reason for Jesus to save us because it doesnt exist either
The original sin was committed by Lucifer. Mankind, due to free choice and the influence of Satan and the demons tends to reject revelation, which leads to deciding for oneself what is right and wrong, and thus making bad and sinful choices. Of course, there's no need for a savior if one rejects revelation.

You act according to what you believe. I believe in going the extra mile, so I go the extra mile. 😇

If gods laws are morality, why arent they being followed anymore? Doesnt make much sense, does it?
Unfortunately Morality lost its true sting when secular laws became the standard fare of the common man. When the church/society no longer had the authority to burn you at the stake, hang or press you to death, or even just exile you from the community, there was no longer any reason to listen to those codes.

Personally I believe that Morality supersedes religion and secular law, but not many tend to agree with me.
