Another Good Month On The Jobs Front...unemployment Drops To 5.9%

Labor participation rate at a 36 year low woot!

You don't sound happy about the good news Rocko

You are not one of those rooting for the economy to fail are you?

How does me stating a fact equal rooting for the economy to fail? We all know you're not rooting for the economy, you're rooting for Obama.

Idiot, where does he mention Obama?
So untwist that little jock strap of yours and stop twisting RWer's words.

"with mediocre growth due to Big Government sucking the oxygen out of the economy"

how

specific examples with solid, objective evidence, please

- $7T of debt
- Wasted Stimulus funds
- Expanded government regulations via Dodd Frank
- EPA out of control
- IRS out of control
- ObamaCare
- Disastrous foreign policy which has led to the resurgence of Al Qaeda (now equipped with advanced military equipment we left behind)
- Porous borders
- Imported infectious diseases
- Hyper partisan racialist agenda
- Lack of enforcing the law

And here is one depiction of the result:

Economy gains 248 000 jobs as hiring rebounds

The labor market rebounded sharply in September as employers added 248,000 jobs, the second largest gain for any month this year.
The unemployment rate fell to 5.9% from 6.1%, lowest since July 2008, the Labor Department said Friday.

Good news for those looking for work. Not good news for the Obama haters.

You're right! That is, as long as you don't mind part-time work.......but, as the idiot Pelosi said "It gives the people time to pursue their "dreams" of being dancers. or photographers or whatever they do to express themselves".

Yeah buddy - life is GOOD!!! :ahole-1:

All of this means the President and the far right are going to have to work together on a jobs bill that meets most of the needs of both sides of the aisle.

How gullible can you libs be? The Labor Participation just went up even MORE. That's why the Unemployment rate went down.

Look manip of the stats helped u win in 2012, but now all those gullible dum dums are waking up. Why? Because they're the ones being hurt most by the economic policies.

Well, faux republican, exactly how many bills are STILL sitting on Harry Reid's desk?

Exactly. There are fewer people in this country working now than at any time in our history - except for the Great Depression. Funny, though, that doesn't really matter to these fools.....what the hell....Any bullshit news that these Nazis can hang their hats on (regardless of the fact that it's propaganda) works for them.

Hey RF, long time no see! There you go making me fall out of my chair laughing again.....
Especially since your post it spot on!

More people DROPPED OUT of the Labor Force than found jobs (many of those being low wage part time ones).

315,000 quit, lowering the Labor Force Participation Rate to 62.7%, the lowest level since February 1978.

Hopenchange!
BULLSHIT!!!!!

Discouraged workers DECLINED from 775,000 to 698,000.
The Tea Bag Brotherhood never tires of lying!

This is good news. This news, however; continues to have bad apples seeded in with the good.

The answer for jobs is pretty simple but seems to elude so many politicians.

Jobs are a by-product of business. One must have businesses in order to supply jobs for people.

The government suppresses business, hence jobs will not be readily available, and those that are will be of a lower quality.

There will be some increase of good jobs, slowly and over time. But no where near the kind we need.

So, stop suppressing business and let the jobs flow.

The number of unemployed fell in September by 329,000 to 9.3 million. Most of them found jobs. But nearly 100,000 stopped looking for work.
BULLSHIT!

The number of discouraged workers DECLINED by 77,000 from 775,000 to 698,000.

I find it odd that the same conservatives who were telling us that the unemployment rate was the most important economic factor in Obamas first term are now telling us that the Labor Participation Rate is now the most important factor

You are aware that the Labor Participation Rate has been dropping for 15 years aren't you?

Whqt are you saying? The labor partician later does count anymore? The fact is a smaller percentage of Americans are working today then when Obozo took office.

What I am saying is that conservatives paid no attention to the Labor Participation Rate when it was plummeting under Bush

Why? Because it has been expected to drop for the last 50 years. Baby boomers are retiring and dropping out of the workforce

Stop being an ass Rocko and be glad that we had good employment numbers last month

Forget about republican and Democrat for a second, when looking at something as complex as the economy it's foolish to believe that one indicator tells the whole story. Now politically, it was stupid for the Republicans to put all their eggs in one basket with the unemployment numbers, but that doesn't change the fact that we are worse off since Obozo took office.

Unemployment has dropped over 4% under Obama. How is that not better?

The one criticism that Democrats had for the low unemployment under Bush was the types of jobs and they were low paying. We are finding us under the same situation here but much worse. So, why is this good news under Obama and band news under Bush?
Slavery.

You know, it's funny, when you think about it..I mean, this country is going through some serious stuff - yet the left will argue with Jesus Christ - that their boy is actually accomplishing something. Take yesterday, for example - Barry comes out and takes credit for a few bullshit "jobs" being added. As if HE actually produced these part-time, low wage, seasonal jobs. There is no jobs bill before the Congress....well, there IS, but the old man at the helm in the Senate (Harry Reid) acting on orders from Barry REFUSES to allow it to come to the floor for a vote.

People have given up and are living off of the US dole. Hell, in reality, can you blame them? I have a friend, 54 years old who applied for, and received Social Security Disability because he has "Carpal Tunnel". 54 years of age and he no longer works, sits at home and collects $2,000 a month. Saw him last week fly fishing. Now, anyone who knows ANYTHING about fly fishing knows that you use your wrists extensively while casting. Do I blame him? Nope. Might as well get it while you can.

And STILL the left thinks "all is well"............:confused-84:

You don't read graphs very well, do you Winger? Yes it was declining but in 2009 IT FELL OFF A CLIFF! If that was the glide path of a plane I'd be grabbing my parachute and looking for the exit because we're about to crater!

Gee, what took place back in 2009? What "change" could have precipitated that nose dive?

Two reasons you economically challenged partisan! The first is that he took over at the height of the recession before we spent nearly a trillion dollars on "stimulus" and did non-stop quantitative easing for six straight years. The second is that WAY too many Americans are now working part time jobs because that's all they've been able to find. Every one of those part time jobs counts as a full time job against unemployment. The truth is...Obama has overseen the worst recovery from a recession since the Great Depression. THAT is why it's not "better"!

You mean down, not up. But the number of discouraged went down, so it's not discouragement that caused people to leave.

Look manip of the stats helped u win in 2012,.
You know, I don't think I've ever heard you explain HOW you think the stats could be manipulated. Especially since there's never been any evidence to support manipulation. Explain the process please of how you think the Labor Force or Employment stats could be manipulated.
